Welcome House has a variety of adult residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mr. Eric Calhoun always comes in and is patient, kind and sensitive to each individuals likes and needs. He has even taken extra folks when we had visiting residents and was able to make sure they looked nice too! The fact that he travels to the home of these folks who have such challenges going to get their hair cut out in public is fantastic. So often in the past Hairdressers and Barbers in the public seemed scared to work with folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Eric never treats them different, He treats them as people, as they should be!!
